Testimonials

I wanted to thank you for being our speaker yesterday. I cannot even put into words how much it meant. Everything you talked about hit home and all ages could relate. I like the way you incorporated NCL in your talk as well. You were so fabulous that I shared your information with other NCL Chapters in our area.

Recently, Amy Carney was the keynote speaker at our school’s Mothers’ Guild annual brunch. Amy’s presentation on Parenting with a Purpose was an incredible statement on the type of mother she is and how we can all strive to raise children to be leaders, problem-solvers and responsible, loving grown-ups. It was a pleasure to meet Amy and to hear her intelligent, no nonsense approach to parenting. We can all relate to Amy’s humorous parenting stories and aspire to raise the leaders of tomorrow through her advice.

Thank you SO MUCH for bringing Screenagers to Journey.  Fielding questions from an unknown audience is one of the most challenging speaking engagements around, and you were masterful.  It takes great courage and confidence, and your ease and approachability was so natural and engaging.

Hopefully we can collaborate again in the future.

Wow! I have to thank you for exceeding our expectations, Amy! We have 200 moms of young children who were inspired and motivated by your talk today! Your skill of weaving the challenge of parenting on purpose with stories from your own family, which illustrate your points, made the time fly by! Your prepared material was excellent, but what we enjoyed even more was the Q & A session because you truly understand and live what you are trying to convey. I am sure many families will be changed for the good because of your wise words that had great impact on the way they will raise their children with intentionality.

We look forward to hearing from you again soon!

One of our parents told us about Amy and suggested she speak at one of our SCA Parent Universities.  Amy was delightful.  Her approach to parenting is so needed in our broken world.  Her delivery and humor were a welcome start to our busy day.  The one word we heard reverberate throughout the morning was “real”.  A “real” Mom with “real” stories about “real” kids.  Best of all, Amy had “real” answers to whatever questions we gave her.  Our goal is to grow this new partnership and bring her back again.

Amy Carney inspired our National Charity League Chapter of 350 women.  We highly recommend Amy as her message was terrific for all in the room and relatable through the many personal examples of how she and her family actively give. What a gem to have this fire inside of her and to share how we can all give more of ourselves to touch the lives of others.

Amy facilitated an amazing Parenting workshop for our employee group.  The participants shared that they enjoyed the session because it helped them think about parenting in a new way.  One participant shared, “This session made me think about how important it is for my husband and I to have goals and conversations about what type of parents we want to be, and about what type of family we want to have.  What in the world is more important than this?  Nothing!  So happy you offered this, thank you so much.

We want to have you back for another session!

Finding someone to speak to our organization of mothers who can deliver a helpful and challenging message can be a tall order but Amy delivered just that. We left with a willingness do look at how we have gone about preparing our children for the years ahead and identifying ways to encourage their development. Plus, we belly laughed a few times with her relatable stories!
